    Reiki Healing

    Reiki is an energy healing practice that supports the nervous system, helps regulate emotional overwhelm, and brings balance to the body’s energy centers (chakras). It originated in Japan and the style I am certified in (Usui) was developed by Mikao Usui.

AK, or Bridgette, is a fourth-generation mystic, medium, meditator, and certified Reiki practitioner (CRA-RP). She brings over 20 years of experience with energy work, meditation, divination, and spiritual practices. Her approach is deeply informed by her lived experiences as a neurodivergent former corporate worker who found healing from burnout and divorce by returning to her roots in holistic healing.

Bridgette comes from a long line of healers and mystics on her maternal side. Raised by a Reiki Master and psychic, she found comfort as a child in tea leaf readings shared over breakfast with her parents. With nearly a decade in equity research and education work, Bridgette prioritizes facilitating safe, inclusive experiences. She brings a trauma-informed and consent-driven lens to her practice. Whether you’re seeking divine insight, or simply a nervous system reset, you are welcomed exactly as you are — all identities, bodies, belief systems, and backgrounds.

At Akashic Daughter, our work is rooted in deep respect for the cultural and spiritual traditions that inspire our services. We believe in giving back to the communities from which these practices come, and the land we live, heal, and work on, donating a fixed portion of our earnings each month to non-profits that preserve, uplift, and celebrate these cultures, their sovereignty, and traditions.

Commitment to Accessibility & Inclusion

Bridgette, as someone living with disabilities, understands some of the financial barriers faced by equity-deserving communities. To help reduce these barriers, she offers a 15% discount on all services for people with visible or invisible disabilities as well as caregivers supporting loved ones with disabilities. She does this by taking a portion of monthly earnings to go toward this subsidization. To access this discount, bring it up in your consult and she’ll provide you the code.
